If you're looking for an alternative to all those ceramic and porcelain tiles, consider glass

If you're looking for an alternative to all those ceramic and porcelain tiles, consider glass. Glass tiles add an interesting dimension, as they reflect light and add more depth to the wall space. Try deep blue or green colors or more bold red or yellow.

Where to Add

Use glass to form a perimeter around your ceramic wall tile, mix it in with stone, or create a diamond or rectangular pattern in a key focal point. Or, sprinkle small tiles at random throughout the wall.

The Benefits

·          You'll see interesting light variations, as light bounces off the glass tiles and filters colors from nearby ceramic tiles.

·          You'll get people's attention, as it’s a unique look.

The Cost

$15 to $25 or more per tile.
